The brief was to create an event to launch the new 2015/16 Arsenal away kit in Singapore that would generate excitement and deliver on the tagline “Powered by Fans”.
I was the creative lead on this project and delivered both concept and visuals. I worked with a 3d artist to produce visuals which showed Puma and Arsenal what they could expect.
The solution was to make a giant torso that we could project 3D mapped visuals on, building excitement, and creating a centerpiece which fans could gather around, whilst still getting a great view of the reveal. The unveiling of the new away kit was a huge success and brought the excitement of Arsenal to the international fans.
Flashing wrist bands that reflected the the stage show were giving to fans so that they could feel more involved with the launch, with the bands changing in colour to reflect the kit launch. This reflected the tag line “Powered by fans”
After the initial kit reveal, mini games and challenges on stage allowed the crowd to see their heroes in action and let the players show their personalities to the Singapore and global audience.
The launch was a fantastic success as can be seen by the mentions on social media and the views on YouTube of both the live event and the edited launch video.
